Expressions of Interest: Book club for children.

We are hoping to start a children's book club in 2024.  If your child might be interested, please email the store at: info@ulyssesbookstore.com.au  to express your interest.

Information About the Book Club?

The book club would be aimed at children aged 10 -12 (Grade 3 - 6) who are proficient readers and it will probably meet twice a term. Book Club members meet-up for 45 mins to chat about that month's book. The idea is to finish the book before our meeting so that we can discuss it without being worried about spoilers.  However it is not an issue if they don't finish - they can still contribute and often it gives someone motivation to keep going. Our aim is to make it fun.

The Book Club would facilitated by Tracey, our children's books buyer.

Cost and What Do You Get?

At this poing we think that the cost will be $50 each term and you would get:

• Two new titles to read for the term.
• A spot at the Book Club table (numbers are limited)
