Ulysses Bookstore's new At Home Book Club is for READERS ALL OVER AUSTRALIA!

How does it work? 

Once a month, from February to November, the store will host a one-hour interactive webinar via Zoom where we will discuss that month’s chosen book. It will be facilitated by store owner, Tracey.

When will it take place and what will we be reading?

We will meet on a Monday evening at 6:00 pm - for the first two meetings in 2024, the dates are September 16th and October 21st. A link to the Zoom meetings will be emailed to you a few days before the meeting. The books we will be reading are:

September: The Glassmaker by Tracy Chevalier

October: The Honeyeater by Jessie Tu

How Much Does Cost?

We will be selling memberships in two month blocks and existing members will get preference to rejoin before we offer places to our waiting list. Please note that book club memberships are not refundable or able to be exchanged. For the "with books" option, both books are sent out a month in advance of the first meeting in the block (or when you purchase your membership if it is within the first month of the current period) and so there is no exchange on these books.

There are two options for membership:

• Attendance at the two Zoom meetings and source your own copy of the books - $30. For those local to the store, you can  purchase the books from the store or online with click and collect and receive a 10% discount. Just tell us you are an "At Home" book club member in store, or if shopping online use the discount code that will be emailed to you following your purchase.
• Attendance at the two Zoom meetings and a copy of each of the books to be discussed posted to you - $102 which includes postage.
